At Papa Johns, we work extensively to make our organization and website accessible to people with disabilities, in order to promote equal rights and transparency.

The Essence of an Accessible Website

An accessible website is one that allows a person with a disability to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as other users, utilizing the capabilities of the system on which it operates and through assistive technology for accessibility.

This website has been made accessible in accordance with Regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Services) 2013, the update to Regulation 35 from October 26, 2017, as well as IS 5568 Part 1 (Accessibility of Content on the Internet) and Part 2 (Accessibility of Digital Documents) of the Standards Institution of Israel, which can be downloaded from this link.

• The website operates on two browsers within the Windows operating system and browsers integrated into IOS and Android operating systems.
• The mobile application has been made accessible for IOS and Android in accordance with W3C accepted standards for mobile app accessibility and within the limitations of the development environment.
• It is optimized for use with assistive technology, including screen reader software and keyboard-only navigation.

Accessibility Features

• The website is optimized for desktop, laptop, and mobile browsing.
• Text can be resized by simultaneously pressing the “Ctrl” and “+” keys. Each press increases the zoom by 10%. To decrease the zoom, press “Ctrl” and “-” simultaneously.
• Users who have difficulty using a mouse can navigate the site using their keyboard. Pressing the “Tab” key repeatedly moves between different links on the page. Pressing “Enter” activates the selected link, and “Esc” is used to exit menus and windows.
• The website works with common screen readers used on various browsers across desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.
• The structure of the pages is semantic and standardized (using headings, tags for links and images, etc.).
• Hierarchical division of headings.
• Tagging of images and non-textual elements.
• Visual focus indicator for keyboard navigation using the “TAB” key.
• Logical and easy-to-understand focus order.
• Accessibility notifications regarding errors in “Contact Us” form fields.
